I made this compost basket in my fibre class by coiling fruit peels and newspaper with butcher string. The whole basket is entirely compostable. I used melon rind, pomegranate skin, orange peel, grapefruit peel, pineapple leaves, banana peel, and plant leaves. It made my whole house smell terrible, but I like the way it turned out.

Metaphor Chair
This assignment was to build a chair that would be a metaphor of another person in the class. Luckily I was paired with Suki who is so cute and friendly. I think I did a pretty good job capturing those traits in this bean bag chair design. It would be pretty comfy too.

The Noodle Shoe
This Noodle shoe was the first project I completed at school. The assignment was to build a shoe using only linear materials. I used Linguini which turned out to be an easy material to work with. I wove boiled pasta and draped it over a shoe form made of tin foil, baked it in sections and glued it together. Thankfully it worked out on the first try because weaving the pasta was a pretty painful process.
